Survivors and Victims Services

We offer a culturally sensitive, Spanish language program to help victims of abuse. It provides individual advocacy-based counseling and a support group for victims of abuse in the areas of domestic violence, sexual assault, physical assault, hate crimes, bullying, teen dating violence, child abuse and human trafficking.

Mental Health Services

Our bilingual staff offers specialized counseling services for children, adolescents, adults and families in the areas of mental health, depression, anxiety and other issues. We provide solution-focused therapy to help clients improve their quality of life. Contact Centro to learn more about programs and resources.

Health Education

In partnership with Ventanilla de Salud, Centro offers various health programs and workshops throughout the community. All programs are bilingual and cover health concerns such as diabetes, hypertension, breast cancer, prostate cancer, depression, anxiety, HIV testing, etc. Events include health fairs, vaccination clinics and resource drives.

Community Services

Whether you need assistance with document translation, language interpretation, completing Medicaid/health insurance paperwork, mental health support, assistance with substance abuse or want to attend a variety of educational health and life skills workshops, Centro is here to assist you. Volunteer

Centro is always looking for hard-working individuals to help with our various projects. We have volunteer and internship positions for high school, college and graduate students.

Donations

Many of our services are free to those in need, which is made possible due to generous contributions and donations.

Success seen through our actions

Mural unveiling at Paddock Farms

Centro Multicultural La Familia recently celebrated the completion of a beautiful mural designed and painted by local youth through our first annual Street Art & Social Justice Camp.

This program was also assisted by Pontiac youth in the Summer Youth Employment Program 2021. The mural is located at 361 S Paddock, Pontiac, MI.
